The Perfect Men's Pants

For every one of us, that would be a difference of opinion.  Men’s attire has changed through the years as much as women’s have.  I for one, cannot imagine being escorted around town by a man dressed like this.

On the other hand, if we were being escorted around town by Mel Gibson, we would not care what he was wearing and it would not matter what we were wearing, because nobody would be noticing us.  That’s for sure.

But, moving on to the good old days, do you remember when men’s pants fit neatly around their waist adorned by a nice looking belt.  You could admire their physique, because they were so efficiently dressed.   I certainly remember.  We never knew what type of undies he preferred, because we could not see them.  Now, it seems I see more undies than I do pants.  And more times than I care to count, I can see more than that.  Not that I care to.  You know what I mean.

If I had to pick the perfect pants for men, it would be jeans.  I have always thought that men wearing suits just made them look too stuffy.  I think a nice fitting pair of jeans shows off just what you want to look at.  Of course, I am talking about the ones that fit nicely at the waist adorned with a nice looking belt, not the ones that fall to the knees. Imagination always works better for me.

But, jeans are not the only pants that men look good in.  I also happen to like cargo pants.  Again with the same imagination.  I found this really great looking pair at "Eccentric Thrifter".

Hawaiian shirts also look better not tucked in.  Therefore, for those men that insist on showing off their anatomy, these shirts would definitely cover more.  Check out her store.  She has a great selection of men’s clothing for sale.

  1. You were spot on when you spoke of today's style of wearing pants hither & yon. A walking billboard with too much information for most of the young men. Thanks for sharing my items. Great post.

    1. Thanks for stopping by Bargain Express. I guess it shows are age that we are old fashioned, because I am myself. I do not like a lot of the new trends, but I think that is the way it is with each new generation.

  3. I laughed right out loud, this was great! I always thought most of the guys with the low riders looked like penguins trying to walk, how could that be comfortable??
Nice combo with the cargo pants and hawaiian shirt.

    1. Great comparison with the penguins. Sometimes, I swear it does look like my son waddles when he walks, but he's a grown up and I have to bite my tongue. Sometimes, I just can't hold it in. I would be uncomfortable. I can't imagine walking around with the feeling that my pants could fall off at any time. Thanks for stopping by. I am glade you enjoyed the post.
