New Twist on Crafts

To some, crafting is sewing, knitting, decorating, or needle point.  I have always thought that cooking was a form of crafting.  After all, making a tasty dish does involve putting together the right ingredients.  With sewing, needle point, etc, you take your materials and put them together to make your project.  Well to me,  cooking is also a project.  You have to start from scratch to put your ingredients together and either cook it on top of the stove, or place it in the oven or refrigerator.  Not only do you have to prepare it, you have to make it look delicious, so those that you are cooking for will want to eat your food.  For those that like to cook and create new dishes, I found this cookbook at "Sirocco's Curios"

Make it Now Bake it Later Cookbook Barbara Goodfellowcalled "Make it Now, and Bake it Later"  This would be prefect for those on the go.  This cookbook offers main dishes, salads, desserts, odds and ends.  He also has other cookbooks to choose from.  If you are looking for more of a gourmet style of food," Eccentric Thrifter"    has some gourmet cookbooks for sale.  I found this really great one called Grand Diplome Cooking Course Volume 2 1972 Vintage CookbookGrand Diplome Cooking Course-Volume-2-1972.  It features dishes from fish to birthday parties.

But for those that still think crafts are made out of materials and not ingredients, Bargain Express  has crafting books and sewing patterns to meet you needs.  I found this really great crafting book calledDisneys Family Fun Crafts Family Fun Magazine Hardcover Book ISBN 0786863048Disney's Family Fun Crafts Magazine that has over 500 family crafts.  We have so many crafty people with stores at ESN.  Some make and sell crafts, while other's provide crafting supplies, or books on crafting.  You should stop by and pay us a visit.
