"MY LIFE IS LIKE A CIRCUS"

My life is like a balancing act making me feel like a clown trying to balance one foot on a tightrope and the other in mid air.  Just as I am making progress towards the end of the tightrope, someone comes along and wobbles the line and there I am trying to get my balance back.  

Just as I thought my family was set with 7 grandchildren (3 boys and 4 girls), my oldest granddaughter has her first child, then my son (which is 35 now) had his third child.  Confusing yes.  Now, I have a great grandson that is 3 months older than my latest grandchild.  Yes, life is definitely full of surprises, happy surprises, yes.  But, life at our house now, is like a 3 ring circus, especially when we all get together.  So that is where the balancing act comes in.  Sometimes, I have to go from clowning around to getting out my imaginary whip to calm the jungle animals.  I love them all and would not trade them for anything.

With Christmas just around the corner, I have been trying to come up with some great gift ideas for my Motley crew.  My youngest granddaughter is the easiest one to buy for.  She loves American Girl 18 inch dolls and all of the clothes and accessories that I have in my store, Nancy’s Doll Closet.  She actually helps me pick out material for the clothing I make and gives me ideas on what other girls like for their dolls. So far, she does not have a favorite American Girl.  She loves them all.  But, I wanted to share with you, one of the outfits she likes for Kanani.  This is a Hibiscus Two Piece Pant set.
