Thanksgiving was a week ago and I feel that I am still trying to recuperate. We had our family dinner on Wednesday, because my son was going out of town on Thanksgiving day. This year we had four new family members, so my home was invaded by three new babies and a newly adopted 3 year old. So, it was more hectic than usual. But, I was thankful to get the chance to spend the day with these 4 new additions, three great grandchildren and a grandchild. All boys. I can already tell that each one of them will have their own individual personalities. Even with all the teary eyes and commotion we managed to get our dinner on the table. It was packed full of food and I thought to myself how nice it would be, if I had a cute centerpiece, or a nice set of salt and pepper shakers like the ones I saw at Katzzs Kloset, Thanksgiving Bears salt and pepper shakers,

but she also has Mr. and Mrs. Snowman
that would be perfect for Christmas dinner. She has a lot of vintage salt and pepper shakers, if you get a chance you should check her out. Thanksgiving day found me alone and thankful for the time to rest from the day before. Two of my granddaughters came back from their mother’s to spend the evening with me, one stayed the whole weekend. So, the three of us decided to check out the sale at our neighborhood Wally World to do some Thanksgiving shopping. I had a gift in mind for my soon to be ten year old adopted granddaughter. She has been asking for a DVD player and Wally World had a Blue Ray on sale. So, we braved the outer limits in search of Christmas presents. Boy, what a big mistake. I have never seen so many rude and uncaring people in my life. I think they just get worse every year. But, the item I wanted was at the front of the store and I was able to wait in line and chat it up with my line neighbors. When standing in line for an hour, you need to be wearing some nice comfortable shoes like these Easy Spirit shoes

that are on sale at Eccentric Thrifter. She has a great variety of items for sale at very reasonable prices.
At ten o’clock when more items went on sale, a fight broke out at the back of the store. I calmly remained in my nice peaceful line, took my item when it became my turn and told my granddaughters it was time to get out of Dodge. It took about an hour to check out, so I got home around eleven thirty. I was so tired, I went straight to bed. The whole time I was standing in line, I just kept thinking about my nice comfortable bed at home. I was ready to snuggle with my fluffy comforter and pillow and leave the cruel world behind. Bedtime just seems more inviting when you have the right things to snuggle with. My store,
Nancy’s Doll Closet has Comforter sets available for sale for American Girl 18 inch doll beds, like this one Pink Ballerinas.
There are many more Comforter Sets to choose from, so if you get a chance, you should stop by my store and check it out. My store specializes in clothing and accessories for 18 inch American Girl Dolls.
Oh my goodness loved - loved your Thanksgiving Adventure blog. Four new additions to your family. How blessed you are. Thanks for sharing your family with us.
