Life's Best Friends

Friends come in many shapes, fashions, and forms. Some believe animals are their best friends, while other consider a good book to be their best friend. Since we all come from different walks in life, we all have our own ideas about friendship. There is no wrong answer, it just depends on what your comfort zone is. I am a pet lover, but at times I have been a book lover. When my children were younger, I actually thought of cartoons as my best friend, for they could keep my children occupied on rainy and snowy days, when playing outside was not in the forecast. In snuggling with my children on the couch to watch their favorite cartoons, I found that cartoon characters also have best friends.
This cartoon reminds me of my children when they were younger trying to look productive while they were planning mischief.

Though this cartoon is long before my children’s time, many of us from the older generation still remember the infamous Betty Boop. She is actually a little before my time, but I have known many from my generation that actually love her. For those of you that are fans, I found this great DVD at  Bargin Express of Betty Boop and Friends.
