"Life's Highway"

As I have traveled down the highways of life, I have often stopped and pondered the state of things to come.  The world has changed greatly in my 61 years of life and I cannot say they have changed for the good.  It seems that every time I turn around something is happening that leaves me in a state of awe.

When my children were in school, I never worried about them being shot while they were at school.  Now, I fear every day for the lives of my grandchildren as they attend school.  But, how can we put standards on children when we have taken away the very things that once gave them values and standards.
We have taken God out of the schools and pledging the allegiance to the flag.  The very two things this country was founded on.  America is going down the tubes, because a select few get to dictate what is best for the rest of the nation.  Criminals have more rights than their victims.  Why have we, the American people, allowed for this to happen.  I fear for the future and what my grandchildren and their children will have to face.

So, when you are traveling down life’s highway and the moment takes your breath away causing a tear to form in the corner of  your eye, you will need something that turns your frown upside down and gives you a reason to smile.  We count on the little things in life to snap our minds to a happier frame of thought.  Nothing does it better than having a cute little keepsake around that brings back pleasant memories.

Milestone Hawaiian Hula 9inches Hard Plastic Souvenir Hawaii Girl DollI found this cute little Hula Girl at Katzzs Kloset and thought what a wonderful thing to make someone smile.  I have not seen on of these in ages, but thought how cute she would be on a desk at work, or home.

She also has other collectibles and a variety of piggy banks to choose from.  I hope you will take the time to visit her store and check her out.  If you cannot find anything you like inside her store, then please take a moment to check out our other stores on Ecrater Stores Network.  Our stores have a lot to offer any shopper.

  1. I agree things have definitely changed in my life too. Fantastic job in tying the highway theme to life. I know back in the day I had one of those Hulas dolls.

  3. You hit the nail on the head with your thoughts Nancy, it's all so true. Great post. I have seen several taxis in different countries with these hula girls glued to their dashboards, what a hoot!
