RUN AWAY BRIDE

I guess most brides feel like running away during the last moments of their freedom. Most do not have the courage and then, there are a few that do. For those that stay to fulfill their commitment to the groom, we sincerely hope that their future will be one filled with love and happiness. For those that choose to run away, you may want to watch this popular Julia Roberts movie “Run Away Bride”.

WITH ALL MY HEART

BABIES, BABIES, BABIES

Last year seemed like a long enduring year.  So, much happened in our household.  The biggest change was in the family size.  At the beginning of 2012, I had three children and seven grandchildren.  Then, my oldest granddaughter got married and added an additional member to the family.  Then, came the babies.  I ended up being rewarded with two new great grandchildren, an adopted great grandchild, and then last but not least, one more grandchild.  So, at Christmas there were 6 additional people to buy for and that number includes my oldest grandson's girlfriend.

WOW!  I was overwhelmed.  I wanted to do something fancy for the newborns, but found that with the increase of family, I would not be able to do so.  But, this year they  will be celebrating their very first birthday, which is just as special as their first Christmas.  So, I have decided that I am going to contact Embroidery Fashions Boutique and have something special made for them.  Embroidery Fashions Boutique has a lot of clothing items already in stock for special occasions, but she also does custom orders.  I went breezing through her store to get an idea of what I wanted and found this cute little item.

THE NEW YEAR

The New Year has just turned the corner and most everyone is thinking about New Year’s resolutions.  An effort we put forth each year to try to make our lives better.  Many are thinking about getting more exercise, new diets, getting more organized, etc. But, since most of us shop online, what about making a new year’s resolution to find better places to shop.  I belong to a community of sellers called Ecrater Stores Network.  We have a variety of shops to choose from.  Some of our stores carry both new and pre owned items for sale.  We also have stores that specialize in certain merchandise, such as Embroidery Fashions Boutique, that does embroidered clothing.  We have merchants that carry vintage collectibles such as Katzzs Kloset and Sirocco’s Curios.  Le Petit Marche sells woman’s fashion jewelry, clothing, shoes and purses.

THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS TREE

 The perfect Christmas tree is in the eye of the beholder.  All of us remember Charley Brown’s Christmas and how attached he was to his Christmas tree.  Though the rest of us thought it to be scrawny, he thought it was the best Christmas tree he had ever seen.  At the end of the cartoon as each of his friends give it tender loving care; it came to life to prove that the tree was a beautiful as he thought it was.  I think the lesson shown in the favorite Christmas show is that anything can be nurtured with a little TLC, it will blossom and grow into something beautiful, and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.  Therefore, those Christmas trees that were decorated with love and tradition will always out shine those that were not.But, regardless of how the tree was decorated, it just does not look the same without presents underneath it.  To me, a tree without presents is like a lost soul without love.  We have all been out shopping for that perfect gift for that someone special and we always get that warm feeling whenever we place it under the tree.  However, try as we might, sometimes we fall short in finding that perfect gift and some of us have resorted to just giving money, or gift cards in place of a store purchased gift.  If you are one that has been bestowed a gift of money for Christmas, you are probably in the market for finding that special item for yourself that you would not otherwise buy.  The Ecater Stores Network has a wide range of sellers with a variety of merchandise to choose from.  I would like to share some of my favorite store with you.

"I LOVE ORANGE"

Orange has always been my favorite color.  I think it is because it is bright and cheery and always reminds me of happy things, like great sunrises and sunsets bursting with different shades of orange.  Oranges are also one of my favorite fruits, so I guess the color orange has always been an active part of my world.  Next to oranges, one of the things I love the most, is butterflies.  They are so delicate, so poised and so beautiful.  They can captivate you with a single movement of their wings and bring a smile to your face as you watch them in flight.  So, you can imagine how I fell in love with this hat from Embroidery Fashions Boutique.

"WHERE ARE ALL THE CLOWNS?"

When I think of clowns, I associate them with two different places.  The first place that I expect to see one is of course, the circus.  I never went to a circus as a young child, but found myself visiting a small traveling circus when I was in Junior High school.  I discovered that, in real life, they are not what the appear to be in the movies.  Remember those movies that made you want to go to the circus, like “Jumbo” starring Doris Day, or “Roust About” starring the infamous Elvis, and then there is “The Greatest Show on Earth” starring James Stewart and Charlton Heston.  Real life is nothing like it is in the movies, we can all agree on that.  I looked up the History of the Circus and found some very interesting facts including the fact that the first circus came to the US in 1793 and opened in Philly.  In case you are interested, I included the link above for the history.
The second place I expect to see a clown, is at a birthday party.  I do not think they are as popular now as they use to be, but you can find them, once again, in the movies delivering a big bouquet of balloons to a lucky boy, or girl.  So, when planning your next birthday party, after you order the balloons and the cake, you should visit Embroidery Fashions Boutique.  She has embroidered clothing just for that special birthday boy, or girl.  I went shopping in her store and found this really cute onesie, I'm 1 Today.  I fell in love with this one, because my great grandson is fast approaching the one year old mark.  Embroidery Fashions has excellent feedback and great customer service.  Looking for that special T shirt just for your party, she also does custom orders.
