The north is getting pounded with snow and the south with rain. Every time I think I have seen the last of winter, here we are again. I will be so grateful when spring actually gets here. In the meantime if, you are like me and hate to hear those two little words, “I’m bored”, you should head over the Eccentric Thrifter. She has a variety of puzzles and games to choose from. I found this great puzzle called Shimmer Sea of Tranquility by Thomas Kinkade.
I am a great admirer of his work. This puzzle is just beautiful and reminds me of warmer better days to come. It will take hours to put together. It could create a great experience for you and your children. Just picture this, all of you gathered around the dinning room table sipping nice hot chocolate, talking about the events of the day, laughing and carrying on, while ignoring the raging blizzard outside. You could even accomplish this, should the electricity go out. Puzzle by candlelight. It has worked for me.And if you have time to spare, I hope you will go to Ecrater Stores Network and check out the other stores in our community.
Spring has to come soon. Awesome take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteI wish more families would sit together and do puzzles it can be rewarding.
Thanks for featuring my puzzle, Nancy! I love the Kincade photos & this was a natural for him to create such lovely puzzles with them.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem odd to be having snow in the Springtime. And especially with Easter coming so early this year. It's confusing for sure!
Nice post. I have always loves puzzles but haven't done one in years! We still have snow too, and kind of chilly. So weary of it all...
