LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD FOR AMERICAN GIRL 18 INCH DOLLS

This is my latest creation.  I tend to get so engrossed in these projects they seem to end up taking me days to complete.  I did a lot of research on this one, just like I did on the pirate outfit I created.  I found out a lot of interesting facts about the Little Miss.  It seems this folk tale originated in the french 10th century.  It has been filtered down through the centuries and the story line has changed depending on who is interpreting the bones of the folk tale.  The fairy tale I remember reading to my children was by the Grimm Brothers, but they were not the first to adapt this tale and make a story out of it.  If you are interested in reading the true facts about Little Red, Wikipedia has a lot of interesting facts.  

Here is a picture of my completed project and my next project is a day dress for Caroline to go marketing in.  After that, I am going to work on Little Bo Peep.

Do you have a favorite doll or stuffed animal that you cannot find clothes for.  Let me know.  I do custom orders and I usually charge much less than my competitors.  I have several years

of sewing experience.  I have sewn commercially and privately.  I can usually make

almost anything and just need a few measurements.

I currently have 3 dresses listed on Ebay for a starting price of $0.99, which is below cost.  Though the price is cheap, they still have nice quality.  I provided a link for you below the picture.  They 

will be on Ebay for 5 days.  I hope to have more after I rummage through all of my inventory.
